Ericsson MSS Technical Engineer, Central London, 45K-55K + Benefits + Bonus
You must have the following experience:
One of the fastest growing telecommunications companies within the UK and Europe is looking for Ericsson MSS Engineer with solid hands on technical experience within SS7, O&M, MSS Platforms and MGW. This position will be based in Central London
Your main duties will be to
- You should have experience within MSS / MSC / MGW with extensive Mobile network operator experience.
- Should have solid knowledge of trigger cables
- You must have extensive experience in configuring Ericsson MSS to support IN services, STP functionality and integration with Ericsson charging solution.
- The ideal candidate must have strong MSS, MSC-S and MGW skills, good 1st line operational and maintenance expertise and have the capability to readily identify network / node problems and escalate to 2nd or 3rd line support.
You must have the following experience:
- O&M of MSS and MGW
- Have solid experience working on Core IN Platforms
- Perform SS7 trace analysis to investigate issues
- perform hardware diagnostics, tests, troubleshooting of call connectivity issues
Knowledge of interfaces and protocols, MSS/MGW alarms troubleshooting and clearance - Analyze and resolve billing file transfer issues, Perform CD upgrades of MSS/MGW
- Perform full back up of MSS/MGW
- Strong troubleshooting skills of hardware and software issues
- You should have an Ericsson certification working on their Boxes
