VAS Solution Engineers (5 positions) 021

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: 31st Dec 10

Possible Extensions: 6 months

Preferred Nationality: International, (except Pakistan, Syria, Iran,
Bangladesh - due to visa restrictions in Kuwait)

Language: English (Arabic is a plus)

Main Skills required:

Must Have:

- Previous working experience with IVR Systems, preferably Techno tree
(or Techno men)

- 3+ years experience in Value Added Services (VAS) for mobile operators

- High skill level in Linux and Unix admin

- Good experience in Oracle or MySQL DBA

- Proven proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Perl, or
Python

- Good background in Java and/or C++

- Advanced level in IP Networking

Nice to Have:

- 2+ years experience in SW Development using Java and J2EE

- 2+ years experience in SW Design, Requirements Analysis, and Testing

- Knowledge of Internet Services; such as NAT, IPSec, Syslog, DNS, DHCP,
RADIUS

- Detailed understanding of the different protocol layers (layer1-4) and
IP protocols

- Advanced level in System Backup& Restore

- Advanced level in SS7 and SIGTRAN

The following is plus:

- Previous working experience in mobile operator (Zain, Orange,
Vodafone, etc)

- Previous working experience in network vendor (Huawie, Ericsson, ALU,

Motorola)

- Previous working experience in system integrator (HP, IBM, etc)

Location: Kuwait

Salary: 9,000 USD a month
