Job Description

We are looking for a Senior RF Optimization Expert having solid experience in 2g/3G networks carrying out RF Network Optimization in multi-vendor environments especially for E// & NSN. Responsibilities will include but will not limited to- 2G/3G RF Optimization/KPI analysis of all our 6 MS countries in South Africa sub-region plus reviewing our current Optimization delivery process and making recommendations for improvement.

Job Description:
Main Purpose of the Role and Key Responsibilities: Main Purpose
-Manage network optimization activities of 6 MS countries as part of a NPO central team to ensure fulfilment of Bharti MS contractual targets and customer expectations within defined and scope. Ensure appropriate claim management and quality standards for delivering the Network optimization & assurance services in scope
Key Tasks
Operational leadership
· Management of Services KPI based on agreed SLAs, audit & further fine tuning of the network based on the assessment of the network
· Verify/implement optimization process for immediate verification of RAN network quality and performance after upgrade and swap activities.
· Prepare optimization process to improve the efficiency and deliverables of the team.
· Primary interface with customer central team for any KPI.SLAs & exclusion management.
· Provide technical guidance and direction to the MS NPO team in all 6 MS countries on a daily basis as required.
· Verify that the MS has qualified RF and Optimisation teams necessary for the successful completion for quality assurance. For any gaps, prepare up skilling programme.
· Establish an effective technical change approval management process for the network modernisation & improvement program, so that all proposed changes are visible, reviewed and approved or cancelled.
· Monitor closely the agreed MS contractual KPIs and prepare an action plan for improvement
· Discuss exclusion list with customer regularly to avoid any penalty in case of KPI degradation
· Supervises milestone status reporting towards internal management.
Technical Expertise
· Having good experience and knowledge of E// & NSN system.
· Analysis of MV RAN KPIs, investigation and improvement of network quality problems
· Hands on experience on Implementation of new RAN features, and tuning of RAN database parameters
· Tuning of RAN Parameters for KPI and network performance improvement
· Expertise with various tools comprising of 2G/3G planning tools (like Netact Planner ,E// RNO tool), 2G/3G Optimization tools (like Netact Optimizer), Drive Test tools (like TEMS,NEMO), Post Processing tolls (like Actix,NEMO Analyzer) and related tools
· Knowledge of E2 End optimization of Data services involving NSN BSS and different make Core part(SGSN & GGSN).
