Key Responsibilities (for all roles)

Each consultant shall, within his area of expertise,

· Lead an independent audit to examine network performance with respect to agreed KPIs

· Undertake critical reviews of suppler network planning programs

· Contribute to development of strategic plans and roadmaps

· Advise on dimensioning and planning

· Analyse fault reports and recommend remedial actions

· Define and implement required processes and procedures

· Provide training for client staff

Duration & Rates (for all roles)

· Assignment duration up to 6 months, with possible extension

· For consultants, up to US$500 per working day, depending on skills and experience

· For senior consultants, up to US$800 per working day, depending on skills and experience

· Accommodation, security and international travel provided

I've just received this extra info from the client, which may help in answering some of the questions the candidates will have:

Location: Consultants will be based in Baghdad (likely to be in the relative safety of a site at Baghdad airport). Consultants will spend almost all their time at the airbase, and will not be required to go to Baghdad proper. They may from time to time be required to travel (by air) to client premises in Sulaimaniya (very safe), but this will be rare. Most communication with the client HQ will be by phone and email.

Duration: Min 6 month assignment with an option of an additional 6 months.

Working Days: Under normal circumstances, 5 day working week will apply. However there may be instances where the consultant will be requested to work an additional day. Consultants will be paid according to authorised days worked.

Ramadan: Under normal circumstances, the Consultants will not be required to work during National holidays, and so will be given unpaid leave. However, if for any reason there is a requirement to work on a National holiday then the Consultant will be expected to report for duty (and will be paid according to the agreed rate).
