Position Title: Cisco ONS Network Engineer
Job Location: Singapore
Description: Cisco ONS Network Engineer Job Description:
Rate: US$60/hour excluding travel expenses.

 

Qualified candidates must have 3+ years experience performing
Transport / Network Engineering on Cisco ONS 15454 equipment. Will be
traveling throughout Los Angeles Greater area to Central Office
locations building basic network designs. Will be configuring,
commissioning, setting cards, loading software, and building fiber
rings for Cisco ONS 15454 equipment. Must have extensive network
engineering experience configuring Cisco ONS 15454 and DWDM. Need
experience with ROADM and T-berd testing. Will need a strong
understanding of Cisco ONS 15454, IP addressing, routing protocols,
and advanced data configurations. Must be familiar with SONET theory
and DWDM. CCNA preferred and CCNP is a big plus.

 

This is a six month assignment that will involve travel throughout
Asia Pacific region.
