1 Nokia RNC support engineer

Job description  : Act as dedicated expert for advanced Care consultancy and support, both for customer account teams and for customers, provide technical leadership to large and / or complex e2e projects or troubleshooting cases.

• Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting /fault localization within several competence areas and Multi Vendor Interface.

• Lead and provide consultancy during complex Care activities such as SW change planning, Expert Support Services, SW upgrades, technical audits and SWAPs or migrations.

- Implement parametering in systems level, understands KPI and is capable to improve the performance of the system or e2e solution.

- Project management duties (e.g. planning of a subproject, technical manager substitute, managing subcontractors).

- Network expansion activities up to multi-interface level.

 - Overall responsibility for test planning: understanding of local requirements (e.g. network structure, functionalities, parameters etc.) to create valid and reliable test plans.

Proactive knowledge sharer role: Technical guidance and support of other team members to avoid problems before they occur, Information sharing and competence transfer, proven presentation and training skills. 

- Main skills : Nokia 3G RNC expert on commissioning, integration, troubleshooting and a very good level on RU10 sw/hw upgrade.

Start date : 01^st September 09. Duration : 2 months

Specific tools  : necessary cable to connect to RNC

 

2 Nokia 3G Flexi BTS support engineer start 27 July 09 . duration : 2 months  

Job description  • First level technical support for customer queries.

• SW maintenance activities: installation & test of technical/change notes /change deliveries.

• SW upgrades and technical audits on site.

• On-site support at customer's premises participating network operation service, when applicable.

• Plan and run a subproject (like SW upgrade, SW change planning, Tailored technical support)

• Installation and/or commissioning and/or integration activities.

• Network expansion activities.

• Technical/customer acceptance testing.

• Implement parametering in the network elements' subsystems (understands KPI and the impact on the performance of the system).

• Participate multivendor and 3rd party activities (installation, integration, interface troubleshooting) 

- Main skills : Nokia 3G Flexi BTS expert on commissioning, integration and troubleshooting.

Start date : 27 July 09 . duration : 2 months         

Specific tools  :necessary cable to connect to 3G Flexi BTS

 

 

 

 

STANDARD WORK HOURS:

 Please note if they have to work on weekend due to the project situation they should get pre approval and authorization from their Project Manager and Line Manager. If they work over the weekend without authorization NSN has the right NOT to pay it. NSN is getting very strict as they had consultants going on site over the weekend without a specific reason

 

Therefore before working over the weekend they should double check unless they want to work for free!!

 

RATE:

MAX 280€ per day all in with visa/work permit deduction to come off  but the lower the better.  NET retention is between 70 to 87% and it depend on the candidate rate.

 

As it is only 2 months contract AF will provide the invitation letter for business visa – we won't be applying for work permit in the first place – we will apply for work permit if they will get extended

 

 

 

NSN to provide:

-       Business expensed authorized from the Line Manager and Cost and Progress Manager

-       SIM card for business calls only up to 50 USD per month

 

Consultant to provide:

-       Flight

-       Accommodation – average 600€ pm for 1 bed apartment

-       Transport – 500€ per month

-       mobile head seat unlocked

-       lap top

-       medical and personal insurance

-       laundry and food
